I'm Mary Stone, I came to Middleboro seeking a place to raise my child. My husband is a lifelong South Shore resident who grew up in East Bridgewater. After enduring exile with me in metro Boston he wished to return home. In Middleboro we found the 18th century house of our dreams. For my first 10 years here, local politics was not on my radar (my fault) until a seismic event happened, which continues to send rumblings skyward every few months. That caused me to wake up. So, I started going to town meetings and paying more attention. As time and (un)employment has allowed I've gone to the state house, participated in PAC activities, and supported local candidates. I’m a private citizen, and have been (un)employed in the Publishing industry for 22 years. It’s been “interesting” in the traditional Chinese curse sense, watching my industry consume itself and send jobs overseas. I’ve posted replies and comments to other blogs under the name “Mary in Middleboro”, and I decided it was time for me to put up my own content, or shut up.

When you have sold your soul and sold your heritage and sold your credibility, where is the Conflict of Interest?
